Matchbox Cannabis Offers Online Ordering at Its North York and Guelph Dispensary Locations
Toronto, Canada - October 30, 2026 / Matchbox Cannabis /
Matchbox Cannabis has activated online ordering for in-store pickup across both of its AGCO-authorized retail locations, making it possible for customers in North York and Guelph, Ontario to browse and reserve cannabis products before visiting a store.
The move brings a more structured purchasing process to shoppers at the cannabis store North York location on Steeles and at the Guelph outlet, allowing them to confirm product availability and complete a selection digitally ahead of their arrival. Both stores operate under authorization from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, the provincial body responsible for regulating cannabis retail in the province.
Legal Product Menus Across Two Ontario Markets
Each Matchbox Cannabis location carries a broad menu of Canadian-grown cannabis products sourced through legal provincial supply channels. The selection at both the North York and Guelph stores spans multiple product categories, reflecting the range that regulated Ontario retailers are now able to offer consumers.
The cannabis dispensary Guelph location serves a market that has seen growing retailer activity since Ontario expanded its cannabis store licensing framework. Matchbox Cannabis participates in that regulated environment, maintaining compliance with AGCO standards at both sites.
Staff at each location are described by the company as trained team members equipped to assist customers in navigating product options. This positions both stores as accessible points of contact for consumers who may be unfamiliar with licensed cannabis categories or seeking guidance on specific product types.
Online Ordering Expands Access for In-Store Pickup
The online ordering feature now live at both locations allows customers to view current inventory and place orders for pickup at their chosen store. The system is available through each location's dedicated web page, giving shoppers the ability to plan their visit without uncertainty about stock.
For the cannabis dispensary North York location, this means customers traveling along the Steeles corridor can confirm their order before making the trip. The same functionality applies to the Guelph cannabis store, where shoppers in the city can use the tool to reduce time spent in-store.
Online ordering for pickup has become a standard feature at many Ontario cannabis retailers following regulatory allowances introduced after the initial rollout of legal retail. Matchbox Cannabis joins operators who have adopted the model to meet consumer expectations shaped in part by broader retail trends.
AGCO Authorization and the 19+ Requirement
Both Matchbox Cannabis locations operate under AGCO retail store authorization, which requires retailers to verify that customers are 19 years of age or older before completing any sale. This requirement applies equally to in-store purchases and to orders placed online for pickup. Customers using the online ordering system will be required to present valid age identification upon collecting their order at either location.
The AGCO framework governs product sourcing, store operations, advertising standards, and age verification protocols. Retailers authorized under the system are required to purchase inventory exclusively through the Ontario Cannabis Store wholesale channel, ensuring that products on the menu at both Matchbox Cannabis locations come from licensed Canadian producers.
Matchbox Cannabis continues to operate both its North York and Guelph stores under that framework, with knowledgeable staff on-site at each location to support customers through the legal purchasing process.
